Atlanta, January 17th, 2014 – The Metro Atlanta Association of Professionals announced today its new mission statement and goals for the year.

MAAP’s mission is to create an inclusive environment for the Metro Atlanta LGBTA+ community that allows for professional development through networking, high-quality events, training, mentoring and education.

Its goals are to:

• Increase membership  by 25%
• Double partnerships
• Increase activism in our community through volunteering (Putting Charity Back on the MAAP)

MAAP will discount admission by $5 for guests that are brought by a MAAP member to each monthly meeting.

The MAAP member who brings the most friends each quarter will win a prize.
